About Us
In 2008 I started a a job in direct sales/construction sales through a large company in the Twin Cities, primarily focusing on storm damage restoration through insurance claims. It now has become my career and one of my primary life endeavors! That year, I was one of our company's top sales reps, finding that construction sales was in my wheelhouse as something I could be successful in!
But later that year my wife and I relocated to Bemidji, where I proceeded to open an office for that Twin Cities contractor, which I ran for five years. John Szurpicki was the first sales rep I hired and was by far my best rep, so he and I worked together to co-manage the office for the next few years.
Then in 2014, we started our own company, Provision Contractors, and have seen the Lord open many doors and caused us to grow significantly, as we now enter our 10th year!!
With faith being the foundation of our company, we have seen the Lord move and provide in some very powerful and even miraculous ways, which we are so grateful for! John and I repeatedly say that we want to be found faithful to the Lord whether he provides us with little business or with much, and while we are far from perfect, we have been able to maintain that focus and motivation throughout the history of our company!
It is truly a pleasure and an honor to have a business partner that is so like-minded and similarly motivated to run a business with that serves the Lord and our customers! And that's the bottom line for us; regardless of how the final money ends up, that we got there without compromising on quality of materials, workmanship, or especially service!
I am humbled and blessed by what we have been able to accomplish, and by how many families we have been able to serve and take care of, and I am really excited to see where the Lord will take us from here!
In 2009 I was given the opportunity to become part of a satellite office in Bemidji for a large contractor out of the Twin Cities. After becoming a Certified Home Inspector in 2003 it was exciting to become part of a homeowner's solution, instead of just identifying their problems. Quickly becoming one of the top salesmen in the company, I was moved into management with my now business partner Rob Mahto. Although much of the work was storm restoration, we both knew we needed to start focusing on the retail needs in our area, so we started Provision Contractors. We both wanted to provide next level customer service and use our resources to bless those around us. Together we have managed more than 2500 construction projects from building decks to roofing homes and large hotels, churches, and resorts.
Our faith has always been the backbone for all we do. We are both heavily involved in our community and our business has played a big role in furthering the ministries close to our hearts. I have been truly blessed to have had the opportunity to lead a Jail Ministry helping the incarcerated get freedom from addiction in three county jails. While our Business expanded in 2018 up the North Shore, I also was blessed to begin Pastoring Beaver Bay Community Church. We have now also expanded into the Twin cities Market. We enjoy sponsoring events and ministries such as Q107 Christian Radio, Northwoods Pregnancy Center, Timber Bay Youth Ministries, Boys and Girls Club Basketball ministry and more. What a privilege to have a business partner who also believes in Giving God the glory for all we are able to do, remaining faithful to love one another in Christ. Being given the privilege to help our community with their construction needs has been truly a blessing.
